Helping the Hansen Family

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister and brother in law.
January 19th was just a normal day, filled with family events and other day-to-day activities. Little did our family know that this would also be a day where we all would pray our hearts out to save our sweet little Hyrum.
That Saturday afternoon 10-month-old Hyrum choked on a piece of an apple. Poor Hyrum was turning blue and the Heimlich was unsuccessful. Karen ran outside screaming for help, screaming for anyone to help save her baby. Luckily her neighbor came outside and was able to perform CPR until the paramedics arrived. Hyrum was still blue, and still unresponsive. This wonderful neighbor performed CPR for the next 15 minutes waiting for help to arrive. Once paramedics arrived they were also unsuccessful at retrieving the apple and continued to do CPR while they rushed him to the hospital. During the hospital ride, Hyrum coded. Thankfully they were able to bring him back, but we were all still very scared and worried. He still was not breathing.
Once they arrived at the hospital a team of wonderful people tried to get the apple unstuck. Still, no luck and Hyrum coded again. They made the decision to push the apple down into his lungs to hopefully allow some air through. Finally, after what seemed like forever Hyrum was able to get some air. This hospital was unable to remove the apple from his lungs, so he needed to be airlifted to the children's hospital. The children's hospital was successful in removing the apple, and after a short hospital stay, Hyrum was able to return home with his parents and 3 older siblings.
Our family would appreciate any support you can give to the Hansens as they begin to pay the medical bills associated with this very scary situation. Any support will help pay for the ambulance, the helicopter, and hospital stay.
(We are thankful for the first responders that helped Hyrum.)
