Hi, my name is Nikole Hanvy. I am fundraising for my husband, Kenny Hanvy.

On March 15th Kenny had open heart surgery to remove a large tumor in his left atrium of his heart. The tumor was then sent off to be biopsied.

On March 29th we received the biopsy results that he has a very rare and aggressive cancer called UPS Sarcoma.

On April 4th we meet with a Sarcoma oncologist at Northwestern.

The cancer has spread to other areas in his body resulting in him being at stage 4 in this journey. He will be doing chemo and radiation to fight this terrible cancer.

This diagnosis has been absolutely devastating to our family.

Kenny is only 44 years old. We never thought he would be fighting for his life at his young age. He is not only my husband, he is an amazing father, a brother, and a friend.

We are already running into so many unexpected expenses. On top of these unexpected expenses, I will not be able to keep my full time hours because of many, many doctor appointments.
