Hey zusammen,

Ich heiße Alex Herbig, bin 29 Jahre alt, komme aus Südafrika (mit holländischen Wurzeln) und lebe seit Ende 2020 in Deutschland. Heute wohne ich mit meiner wunderbaren Frau Kyra, unseren drei kleinen Wunderkindern und unserem Hund in Lübeck.

Sokrates sagte: Kein Grieche hatte das Recht, körperlich untrainiert zu sein.

Die Griechen glaubten: Wer führen, diskutieren oder kämpfen will, braucht einen starken Körper und einen klaren Geist.

Kraft war das Zeichen, dass man das Recht hatte zu sprechen – und gehört zu werden.

Im Athen des 5. Jahrhunderts standen Sporthalle, Bibliothek und Tempel nebeneinander.

Trainieren. Denken. Anbeten. Und dann: von vorne.

Das war kein Zufall. Die Griechen wussten: Diese drei gehören zusammen.

Und wie viel mehr sollten wir Christen das wissen?

Wie viel bereitwilliger sollten wir aufstehen, um zu beten und zu trainieren?

Wie viel disziplinierter sollten wir sein, um das harte Training durchzuziehen? Um auf den geistlichen Kampf vorbereitet zu sein?

Training soll nicht leicht sein. Auch für Jesus war es nicht leicht, das Kreuz für dich zu tragen. Wenn ich in die Kirchen heutzutage schaue, dann sehe ich einen lauwarmen Glauben. Wenige, die die Extrameilen gehen wollen. Dabei sollen wir doch Jesus in allem ähnlich werden – auch in seinem Leiden.

Wie bereit bist du, für Jesus zu leiden?

Wie bereit bist du, deine Komfortzone zu verlassen und die harten Wege zu gehen?

Es ist Zeit, die Bequemlichkeit, das lauwarme Christsein und das einfache Leben hinter uns zu lassen.

Trachtet zuerst nach dem Reich Gottes und seiner Gerechtigkeit – und alles andere wird euch zufallen.

Das Reich Gottes ist schon hier. Matthäus 6,33

Jesus war radikal.

Er sagte: „Sorgt euch nicht um morgen – der morgige Tag sorgt für sich selbst.“

Hör auf, im Morgen zu leben – fang an, JETZT für Jesus zu trainieren!

Jesus sagte zu den Pharisäern: Wenn ihr mir in den irdischen Dingen nicht glaubt – wie wollt ihr mir in den himmlischen glauben?

Jesus ist der wahre Jiu-Jitsu-Meister. Er hat Worte des Lebens. Doch nur wenige hören hin.

Jede Familie – Mann, Frau und Kind – sollte die Wahrheit über geistlichen und körperlichen Kampf kennen.

Wir sollten wissen, wie der Feind agiert – und wie wir uns schützen.

Wir sollten mit unserer geistlichen Rüstung vertraut sein – und wissen, wie man sie einsetzt.

Wir müssen bereit sein, jederzeit alles stehen zu lassen und zu kämpfen.

Wenn der Krieg begonnen hat, ist keine Zeit mehr zum Üben.

Trainiere, bevor der Kampf beginnt.

Kampfsport ist eine göttliche Idee, die der Feind verdreht hat, um seine Lügen zu verbreiten.

Jiu Jitsu, Grappling, Nahkampf – all das sind wertvolle biblische Fähigkeiten, in denen tiefe biblische Weisheiten versteckt sind.

Nur wenige können richtig lehren. Und noch weniger lehren so, dass das Evangelium dadurch alle Völker erreicht.

Jede Nation. Jedes Volk. Jede Sprache.

Kommunikation ist nur zu 7 % verbal – der Rest ist Körpersprache.

Wie viel vom Evangelium geben wir wirklich weiter, wenn wir nicht gemeinsam trainieren und kämpfen?

Ich leite ein christliches Kampfkunst- und Sportmissionsprojekt – und ich brauche deine Hilfe, um dieses Geschenk weiterzugeben.

Die Christian Jiu Jitsu Association (CJA Int.) ist eine christliche Missionsorganisation mit dem Ziel, Menschen und Familien geistlich, körperlich und mental zu stärken – auf Basis christlicher Werte.

Ich verknüpfe immer das Training mit geistlichen Inhalten und auch Diskussionen danach/davor und biete Gebet an.

Unsere 3 Hauptziele bei CJA:

1. Die Botschaft von Jesus verbreiten

2. Kirchen und Christen ausbilden und ausrüsten

– im Verständnis und Umgang mit geistlicher Kampfführung, Leiterschaft und Evangelisation.

3. Erweckung bringen

Unsere Vision ist es, der geistlich erfüllte Standard für christliche Kampfkunst und ganzheitliches Wohlbefinden zu sein – eine Gemeinschaft, in der Glaube und Fitness Hand in Hand gehen.

Unser Traum: In die Städte und Orte zu reisen, wo Jesus am dringendsten gebraucht wird.

Doch dafür brauchen wir dich.

Wir brauchen Arbeiter für die Ernte.

Und wir brauchen Gemeinden, die diese Arbeiter ausbilden, ausrüsten und unterstützen.

Unser Gebet ist, dass diese Mission auch die erreicht, die sie sich nicht leisten können.

Deshalb soll sie für JEDEN zugänglich sein.

Das Ziel: Gottes Reich multiplizieren.

Deshalb gibt es unser „PAY IT FORWARD“-Programm:

Damit kannst du andere Leute und Familien unterstützen, indem du Training und Coaching für sie ermöglichst.

Wir glauben, dass JEDER vom Geschenk christlicher Kampfkunst profitieren kann.

Und wir wissen: JEDER braucht die Botschaft von Jesus.

Doch dafür brauchen wir deine Hilfe.

Wir müssen dieses Movement zu Menschen bringen, die sonst nie davon hören würden.

Wir brauchen Gebet, Unterstützung und Ressourcen, um weiter voranzugehen.

Greetings and blessings to you all in Jesus mighty and powerful name, hallelujah! 

My name is Alex, and I am a 29 year old South African (with Holländisch parents / ancestors), living in Germany since end of 2022. I now live in Lübeck with my beautiful wife Kyra, and our 3 small miracle kiddos (plus our dog).

Socrates said that no Greek citizen HAD THE RIGHT to be unskilled at physical training.

The Greeks believed that to be fit for LEADERSHIP, DEBATE, and WAREFARE, one had to own a STRONG BODY / MIND.

It was the sign that you had the right to speak, and deserved to be heard.

In 5th century Athens, the GYMNASIUM, LIBRARY and TEMPLE were all built together.

- Train.

- Think.

- Worship.

Then Repeat.

That was no coincidence; the Greeks KNEW that the 3 belonged together.

How much MORE should us Christians know how to Train, Think and Worship? How much more willing should we be to stand up early to go pray / train. How much MORE DISCIPLINED (discipled) should we be to train the hard training?

Training isn’t meant to be easy for you. It wasn’t easy for Jesus to carry the cross for you...

We are supposed to be identified with Jesus in EVERY WAY, including SHARING IN HIS SUFFERING.

HOW WILLING ARE WE TO SUFFER FOR JESUS by stepping out of our comfort zone and doing the tough stuff?

ITS TIME TO PUT AWAY THE COMFORT ZONE, EASY LIVING AND LUKEWARMNESS.

Seek first the Kingdom and God and His glory, and all the other things will be given to you. The kingdom of God is already here.

Jesus was an extremist. He said: „don’t take ANY thought (worry / stress / burden) for tomorrow. Tomorrow will have enough things to occupy you tomorrow.“

Worrying about Tomorrow is one of the worst enemies of a Christian.

What will happen tomorrow?

How will I do it tomorrow?

When do I do it tomorrow?

It’s time to stop living in tomorrow and start training for Jesus RIGHT NOW!

Jesus told the Pharisees that they would not believe Him if He spoke to them about heavenly things, because they did not believe him about the physical things. Jesus is the ultimate Jiu Jitsu master. He has the words of life. But few listened.

Every Christian Family - Man, Woman and child should know the truth about physical and heavenly warefare. We should all understand how the enemy operates, plus how to safeguard against the attacks. We should all be familiar with our Godly armor / equipment and how to use it. We all need to be ready to drop our work and fight at a moments notice. There is no time to get familiar with your battle gear when you are already standing on the battle ground. Train it before you need it.

Martial arts is a godly concept and idea that satan twists to spread his own ideas. Jiu Jitsu / grappling / hand to hand combat is a unique and important biblical skill.

VERY FEW people can teach effectively. Even fewer are equipped and trained to teach it in a way that spreads the Gospel to all the world.

To every tribe and nation.

To every ethnic group and language.

Communication is around 7% verbal and 93% body language. How much are we really honestly communicating / evangelising / sharing the gospel if we aren’t rolling around together training for combat?

I am the leader of a Christian Martial Arts Sports mission concept, and I need your help to share this gift.

The Christian Jiu Jitsu association (CJA int.) is a Christian mission organization that aims to To empower individuals and families to grow spiritually, physically, and mentally in a Christian values-led environment.

Our top 3 goals at CJA:

1. To spread the gospel of Jesus - locally and internationally, using mobile / unique outreach ideas to reach needy fields

2. To teach, train and equip churches and Christians (first leadership, then community) with the knowledge, understanding and skills of spiritual warfare, leadership and evangelization.

3. To bring revival, encouragement, prophecy, new fire, passion and gifts to the Brothers and Sisters of the Church of Jesus Christ, across the world.

We operate with the vision of being the leading, Holy Spirit filled standard of Christian martial arts and holistic wellness, building a community where faith and fitness thrive in harmony.

Our dream is to be able to travel to the cities and communities that most need to hear about Jesus. We need your help to see this dream made reality. We need workers in the fields, and we need communities training, equipping and supporting the field workers.

We can’t serve God and the world (two different masters). We want this movement to be purely directed and led by the glory of God.

We pray that this mission reaches even those who can’t afford it. We want this to be accessible to EVERYONE. Multiplying Gods kingdom is the goal here.

That’s why we have a „PAY IT FORWARD“ program, which allows you to support this young mission by buying coaching / training for other families who need it.

We believe that EVERYONE can benefit from the gift of Jiu Jitsu and Christian martial arts training. We KNOW that everyone will benefit from hearing about Jesus.
