In Memory of Victor: Helping hand family

Hi, my name is Thiago, and I am Victor Andrade 's brother. My brother was always someone who loved to think and develop indie games. I remember how his journey of creating new worlds began when he was just 11 years old. He was always very creative and passionate about what he did, and there are some games started for Global Jams in development on his computer.

Today, I am creating this fund on behalf of our family because since October 2022, Victor courageously faced a challenging battle against cancer that originated in his tongue, spread to his throat, with side effects also affecting his lungs.

At only 26, Victor left us in November 2023, and we really miss him. He was such an awesome person. The thing getting us through is thinking he's not suffering anymore and is at peace.

During the treatment and hospital stays these last few months, we were all hoping he'd bounce back. We kept his place comfy, just like he had it, wishing he could come back to it.

And as you may know, cancer treatment, funeral expenses, and apartment bills involve significant costs. To assist our family during this difficult time, his friends gave us the idea to create this GoFundMe to help cover some of the costs from the past few months.
