On June 11, Christopher “CJ” Hunnewell and his son Ty Carter were murdered. CJ and his

wife Jessie had taken a young man into their home, even though they knew the youth was troubled. Last week, this young man took Ty and CJ’s lives suddenly and violently.

CJ is survived by his wife of 18 years and two daughters. Their home is now a crime scene that will take days to be restored to a safe place. There will be expenses for shelter and other basic needs, as well as lost wages. Jessie and the rest of our family will soon be planning two funerals for our loved ones. We are devastated.
