Civics Education and Sensitization

Calling all Nigerian youths!

Nobody is coming to save us. We must do this ourselves. It’s time for action.

What we’ve lost cannot be replaced but we can certainly change the narrative in our time.

The 2023 General Elections in Nigeria will provide the  opportunity to achieve this.

Our goal at My Voice My Future is to bring 1 Million Nigerian Youths to their polling stations and create the biggest disruption to elections in Nigeria EVER.

To do this, we’re launching the largest voter registration drive and will work to get 1 Million Nigerian youths to vote in the 2023 Nigerian General  Elections.

We can do this, we have the numbers and the desire to make that change.

You probably know this already but here are a few reasons why this campaign concerns you:

1.)Voter apathy is the main reason why Nigeria currently ONLY works for a SMALL minority group of people at the moment.

2.) If we show the minority that the majority are actively involved in the election process, they have no choice but to listen to us, therefore You have the power to put an end to mediocre candidates.

3.)Voter/Civic participation aids accountability and transparency between officials and the electorate which we need to secure our future.

How this campaign will work :

1.)Launching publicity campaigns to inform and equip young Nigerians (18-35 mainly) about why, when, and where to get their PVC Permanent Voters Card (PVC) which enables them to Vote.

2.) Educating Young Nigerians on why they should care: their civic responsibilities, the state of the country, and how their getting involved and voting CAN change things.

3.) Lobbying electoral authorities in Nigeria to increase transparency in the democratic process and stop making voting so difficult for willing voters.

Now, this is where you come in…

We cannot do this alone.

We need funding immediately to facilitate these plans successfully, so please donate what you can and if you cannot right now, please share amongst your network and join the movement as a volunteer, we need more hands.

For record-keeping and transparency, we will publish real-time updates on how we spend your money on our website so please have a look.
