A City On A Hill Cannot Be Hidden...and Neither Can This Vision.

City On A Hill is a cinematic short film, one of many to come, that brings real-life testimonies of Christian artists to the screen through music and cinematic, visual storytelling. Inspired by Matthew 5:13–16, the series invites people into a sacred, spiritually and sensually immersive space where the redemptive glory of Christ shines through the brokenness of every believer.

This short movie focuses on each artist’s journey projected through their distinct styles of expression and unified love of Jesus. These stories are therefore not presented in isolation, but woven into one collective narrative. A cathedral of voices, where each artist is a stained-glass window. Cracked, coloured and unique, yet illuminated by the same light.

More than a creative documentary, this is an invitation. Not just to watch, but to feel, to see and to join.

What we have done already:

Our first project was created entirely without external funding. It was a labour of faith, self-sacrifice and passion.

Why we are asking for your support:

We have the skills, but we need to pay the bills...we therefore must invest with your generosity if we want to maximise this project’s reach, excellence and deep emotional resonance. Our aim is not simply to finish a project but to build a platform where Christian artists are seen, stories are honoured and the Spirit of God is revealed through a world of Christ centred artistry.

Every pound has purpose

If we come in under budget, for instance if wardrobe items are sourced through partners or music sessions wrap early, we expect to save between £250 and £450.

Every bit of that margin will be reinvested directly into digital promotion on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

This project is not just about production. It is about presence in an increasingly tech-driven world. Christ is King of the entertainment industry, and we wish to spread His Kingship through displaying the power of His Spirit in His Creatives.

We want this testimony to reach those who may never walk into a church but are still hungry for truth, community and most importantly, Jesus.

What success looks like:

We are building this around four outcomes

1. Creative excellence

A visual and sonic experience that is spiritually rich and artistically strong. Something that holds its own weight in both Christian spaces and wider culture.

2. Deep connection

Our TikTok has already grown to over 2,000 followers with no budget. We plan to grow this through consistent, Spirit-led content that meets people where they already are.

3. Invitation to community

Heaven's Sound began with three people. Today, it is a creative ecosystem of engineers, instrumentalists, stylists, colourists and editors, united by a vision and service. This project will continue to multiply that creative body.

4. Sustained presence

This project will also produce a library of cinematic content with moments extracted and reframed for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. These will offer an ongoing, accessible invitation to many, we want to bring God's children back to Himself through the cries of His sons and daughters.

Our team is grounded in local churches across London

Anjola and Richard are committed members of Imprint Church of which Jesse was a previous server and now attends Panim City Church

Reece serves at True Vine Church as a worship leader and youth mentor

Josh works full-time in media production for King’s Church London, producing for sermons and creative content every week
