Our Story: From Aesthetics to Awakening

My name is Karyn Holland, and my journey began in Atlanta in the vibrant intersection of fashion, film and design, disciplines that taught me the power of stirring emotion and storytelling through beauty and form. Yet, beneath the creative surface, a deeper spiritual calling lived within me; one that drew me to California to study yoga, meditation, Energy Medicine® and the Akashic Records.

My husband and Citrine co-founder, Jay Holland, brought decades of entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Mulholland, a global luxury leather goods company with over 500 employees and international retail presence. Together, we merged creativity and consciousness, designing a line of women’s handbags infused with healing crystals and inspirational messages. What started as a product line soon grew into a lifestyle brand and a thriving community.

In 2018, we opened Be One With in San Anselmo, a boutique that became a community beacon for intentional living. By 2020, our vision evolved into Citrine, a name symbolizing joy, abundance and manifestation. Today, Citrine is led by me and my daughter Maya Holland. Our space has blossomed into a retail sanctuary, wellness collective, yoga studio and community hub in downtown Larkspur. Together, we’ve woven generational wisdom, intuitive guidance and creative energy into every offering, proving that how we move, what we wear and how we gather can truly raise our vibration.

In addition to what we offer today, we are expanding our services to focus on sleep, hormone balance, longevity, immune resilience and cancer support. We are proud to be collaborating with Dr. Mary Tagliaferri, M.D., a renowned biotechnology executive and physician with three decades of leadership in oncology, women’s health and immunology. Together, we aim to redefine what’s possible in integrative healing.
