Citlali’s Recovery

Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to you for support, as our beloved granddaughter Citlali Juarez, age 16, is facing a life-altering challenge. On March 15th, she was involved in a devastating car accident, resulting in a broken back and severe internal injuries. Since that day she has been enduring medical procedures/surgeries, rehabilitation and working towards overcoming ongoing infections due to the severity of the accident.

We are currently on Day 17 of our hospital stay and regardless of how severe this situation may be, Citlali is still smiling through the pain. She is known for her positive outlook on life, boundless energy, and unwavering kindness. As she fights to recover, our daughter and Son in law, Patty and Robert have had to take time off work to stay by Citlali's side, ensuring she receives the care and support she needs.

The road to recovery will be long, and Citlali faces a rigorous rehabilitation journey ahead in Santa Clara to regain her strength and mobility. Alongside the emotional toll, the mounting medical bills and financial burdens are overwhelming.

As a family, we humbly ask for your generosity and support during this trying time. Your contributions, no matter how small, will alleviate the financial strain of medical expenses and rehabilitation costs, allowing Citlali and her family to focus on healing.

Queridos Familia y Amigos,

Nos dirigimos a ustedes en busca de apoyo, ya que nuestra amada nieta Citlali Juárez, de 16 años de edad, enfrenta un desafío que cambiará su vida. El 15 de marzo, estuvo involucrada en un devastador accidente automovilístico, que resultó en una fractura de espalda y graves lesiones internas. Desde ese día, ha estado sometiéndose a procedimientos médicos/cirugías, rehabilitación y trabajando para superar infecciones continuas debido a la gravedad del accidente.

Actualmente, estamos en el día 17 de nuestra estancia en el hospital y, a pesar de lo grave que pueda ser esta situación, Citlali sigue sonriendo a través del dolor. Es conocida por su visión positiva de la vida, energía inagotable y bondad inquebrantable. Mientras lucha por recuperarse, nuestra hija y yerno, Patty y Robert han tenido que dejar de trabajar para quedarse al lado de Citlali, asegurándose de que reciba el cuidado y el apoyo que necesita.

El camino hacia la recuperación será largo, y Citlali tiene un proceso riguroso de rehabilitación por delante en Santa Clara. Además del impacto emocional, las crecientes facturas médicas y las cargas financieras son abrumadoras.

Como familia, humildemente les pedimos su generosidad y apoyo en este momento difícil. Sus contribuciones, por pequeñas que sean, aliviarán la carga financiera de los gastos médicos y de rehabilitación, permitiendo que Citlali y su familia se enfoquen en sanar.
