Hi! My name is Jeff. I'm a passionate native plant gardener and democracy defender. I got into native plants a few years ago and it's been life changing. The passion brought me to advocating for natives beyond my little yard and chasing bigger projects.

Through a small coalition of other native plant nerds, we've been given about 20000ft of space in a new township park to turn into native plants! The caveat is that we have to pay for it...boo. But the mission is important enough for us to try to raise some of the money.

The money for the seed and initial installation, will cost approximately $4000. After that, we have plenty of free labor to help keep it maintained. But, with a project that is high profile, and this being our first project, we opted to go with the trusted restoration specialist, Eubanks Environmental.

If you can donate anything, I can promise it will go to this worthy cause. The new park is loosely titled "Lake Villa Township Park" and it is located at the NW corner of Grand Ave and Fairfield Rd in Lake Villa, IL.
