Cisco’s Cancer Fight
Francisco (Cisco) Garcia and Robert Sherwood have a cancer fight and journey ahead of them.
As most of you know Cisco was diagnosed with Vocal Cord Cancer in November of 2024. They were blessed to know the cancer was caught early and treatment would be 6 weeks of radiation.
Cisco completed the radiation therapy treatment in February of 2025. Despite not having a voice Cisco was excited and looking forward to putting cancer behind him, recovering and having a strong voice again.
Cisco and Robert recently found out that the radiation treatment was not successful and the cancer has advanced and has continued to grow the last 10 months.
Unfortunately the cancer has advanced beyond normal treatment and now Cisco is facing a Total Laryngectomy, which will be scheduled early December. Devastated is an understatement.
As most of you know, Cisco has a talent for singing and has been privileged to sing with both Phoenix and San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.
All donations will help Cisco and Robert with advanced medical costs and costs for living adjustments. Both Robert and Francisco(Cisco) greatly appreciate any and all help, love, and prayers sent their way. Recovery for Cisco will be intense and roughly about 3 months for him to recover and discover his new voice. Thank you all for your love and support, we sincerely appreciate it.
