Este domingo 16 de agosto nuestra colaboradora y amiga Zaira Medina sufrió un accidente mientras alimentaba a una manada de perros rescatados, uno de los dedos su mano se fracturó en varias partes. Ella es como una madre para muchos de nuestros rescatados en Lucky Dogs, es la enfermera de nuestros perritos en rehabilitación, juega con todos, les da cariño a nuestros peludos que más lo necesitan y hoy es tiempo de ayudarla. Además de apoyar en el refugio ella es madre soltera de un niño pequeño y pilar económico de su familia.

Aunque Lucky Dogs Club House pudo apoyarla a cubrir toda su atención primaria de emergencias y medicamentos iniciales, ustedes saben que no contamos con suficiente presupuesto para poder ayudarla a solventar la cirugía que recomiendan todos los especialistas que ha consultado posterior al accidente. Es importante la cirugía se realice lo más pronto posible para que pueda recuperar la movilidad completa de su mano y continuar con su vida. Agradecemos de antemano cualquier donativo que puedan brindarnos, por mínimo que sea nos acerca a llegar a la meta.

This past Sunday, August 16, our colleague and friend Zaira Medina was injured while she was feeding a pack of rescued dogs; she suffered a fracture that shattered one of the fingers on her hand into several pieces. She is like a mother to many of the dogs we have rescued at Lucky Dogs; she is our nurse for the dogs in rehabilitation, plays with them all, and offers affection to our furry rescued who need it most—and now, it is time for us to help her. In addition to her work at the shelter, she is a single mother to a young child and the primary breadwinner for her family.

While Lucky Dogs Club House was able to cover her initial emergency care and early medication, we do not have the funds to pay for the surgery recommended by all the specialists she has consulted since the accident. It is crucial that she undergoes this surgery as soon as possible so she can regain full mobility in her hand and move forward with her life. We are grateful in advance for any donation you can provide; no matter how small, it brings us closer to our goal.
