Mi mamá, Karen Martínez, es una mujer increíblemente fuerte. Desde el 2015 ha enfrentado una dura batalla contra el cáncer y, con mucha valentía, logró vencerlo una vez. Hoy, el cáncer ha regresado en forma de un oligodendroglioma avanzado, y nuevamente nos toca luchar.

Su única esperanza está en un tratamiento especializado en el Centro Internacional de Cáncer en San Salvador, donde cuenta con la tecnología necesaria para darle una nueva oportunidad de vida.

Sin embargo, los costos son muy altos. La cirugía, el tratamiento y su recuperación suman CAD$20,600 (US$17,000), una cifra que no podemos cubrir solos.
