Ciriah’s Fight-Rest in Peace

Hi my name is Faith and I started this gofundme for my friend Crystal as her daughter battles Aplastic Anemia.

I met Crystal and her three girls, Chasidy, Cerenity and Ciriah back in 2010 when Ciriah was just a little baby. We both were in school for medical assisting. When I met Crystal I remember how much I admired her because even though she was a very young mom with three girls all under the age of 3, she did whatever she could to make sure her girls were taken care of. To this day she still does all she can for her girls.

Sometime in the middle of last year Ciriah, now 14, got sick. Her immune system was bad after a few visits to the er and hospital stays she was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic anemia is a rare condition in which the body stops producing enough new blood cells. Her immune system had been compromised. She had to go from attending school to being home schooled. After trying all they could to try and get her better, the doctors came to the conclusion that Ciriah will need to undergo chemotherapy and have a bone marrow transplant. Thankfully they did not have to wait long to find a match off the registry. Towards the end of March Ciriah will undergo five days of chemo and then have a bone marrow transplant.

I have witnessed Crystal go through so many challenges being a single mom raising three beautiful girls on her own. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for her girls. This has been their toughest battle. While Crystals main focus is getting Ciriah the treatment she needs, she was forced to stop working as she is Ciriahs main care giver. She also has two other beautiful daughters who have to sit back and watch their sister go through this.

I just wanted to start this for her to help alleviate any expense that will come up while Ciriah undergoes treatment. From, food to rent and gas money and bills. Any donation no matter how small will help. Prayers will help as well.
