Thoughts from Paige…
“You have a brain tumour.”
…are the words I never expected to hear at 30 years of age.
I was fit and healthy.
I was completely well—doing acrobatics and circus.
I was so happy and about to go overseas to live my dream.
But life had other plans.
Awful plans I never imagined I’d share publicly, but I believe in being real - and sometimes that means sharing the times when life isn’t perfect.
The tumour is large and pressing on my brain. It appears slow-growing, but has some atypical features that are concerning - so surgery is needed, and we won’t know exactly what we’re dealing with until then.
So, no trip. No circus school. No dream of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe again with my friends.
But how lucky I am that it was found. That I live in Australia with access to great healthcare. And that I have the most incredible friends and support crew who’ve been holding my head up on this wild, scary rollercoaster.
I want to find purpose in this mess - and hopefully by sharing my story, I can help others too. I’ll keep you all posted.
Now go live your day to the fullest and don’t wait for tomorrow. x

Paige is scheduled for neurosurgery in July, with a recovery period expected to last up to six months. During this time, she won’t be able to drive or work as a paramedic, and she’s already navigating mounting medical costs - specialist appointments, imaging, hospital fees, and the inevitable out-of-pocket surprises that come with major surgery.
If you know Paige, you know she’s pure sunshine - one of those rare, genuine souls with a fire for life, matched only by her wildly infectious laugh. She’s the kind of friend to show up with a homemade cake and a quirky story when life gets hard, and this is our chance to show up for her in return.
This GoFundMe is to support Paige during recovery - to help ease the financial stress so she can focus on healing, regaining her strength, and eventually getting back to what she loves most: spinning on stage, travelling the world, and chasing her circus dreams.
Please donate if you can - every little bit helps. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this page means the world too.
Let’s get behind our rocket of a human and help her bounce back stronger than ever ♡
