Circus in Times of War

We launched an initiative with one simple goal: to reach 1,000 children and bring a smile to their faces despite the war and the constant bombing.

At Circus Hub, we believe our mission matters now more than ever. We refuse to derail from our vision of spreading joy and sharing the power of play and circus wherever we go.

To our international community of friends: since March 1, 2026, Lebanon has been facing a full-scale war.

So far:

• 1,000,000 people displaced

• 2,055 people killed

• 3,000 people injured

• 120,000 people living in 580 collective shelters

Among them are around 200,000 displaced children living with stress, fear, and uncertainty every single day.

The least we can do is put on our playful suits, show up, and remind them that joy still exists.

What started as a simple goal… became something much bigger.

We set out to reach 1,000 children — to bring them a moment of joy in the middle of fear, uncertainty, and war. And we did.

But along the way, we realized this was never just about numbers.

In a country where over 1,000,000 people have been displaced, where families are torn from their homes, and where nearly 200,000 children are growing up under the weight of stress and fear… showing up became our responsibility.

At Circus Hub, we chose to do what we do best:

to play, to laugh, to connect — and to remind every child we met that joy still exists, even in the darkest times.

This is only the beginning.

Our mission doesn’t stop here.
