Circles of Rhythm Foundation
The Circles of Rhythm Foundation’s (CORF) aim is to bring the benefits of the Integrated Community Drum Circles (ICDC) to those affected by “The Three R’s”: Recovery, Resiliency, & Reconciliation. The UNITY annual fundraiser along with donations, and government grants will
help fund the important mission of the CORF & other commUNITY
agencies who are supporting affected marginalized populations in
Calgary and the surrounding area.
The Circles of Rhythm Foundation (CORF), incorporated as a
philanthropic Society since August 2015, has a mission to maximize the therapeutic impact and community building benefits of the Integrated Community Drum Circle (ICDC) within select marginalized
communities in Alberta.
As it stands, the CORF is in the process of registering as a
non-profit/charitable organization through Service Alberta. This is a
lengthy process and it will not be attainable without your help. Our first call to action is to raise $25,000 in order to finalize our registration as a charitable organization.
The funds raised will be used to facilitate the planning, operationalizing, and implementation of affordable therapeutic Integrated Community Drumming Circle programming for our target “Three-R’s” population:
