Thank you for helping! We are updating the campaign for a portion of the funds needed for making a shed livable for Lisa's cats. We are seeking a way to defray the costs of electrical, insulation, flooring installation and heating solutions.

The shed has been emptied out and will be further inspected for the punchlist. Dawn is coordinating the work elements plus Lisa and the cats' move. Lisa is motivated and working to help prepare the way for the cats. An external catio will be attached to the shed which will provide an ideal habitat for these indoor-outdoor kitties once they are acclimated to their new normal. 

This an emergency situation for Lisa, a sister rescuer and her 4 beloved cats. Lisa tragically lost her partner Grey, a life-altering and impoverishing event. 

Lisa is unable to work due to disability. Her fiancé Grey,

their household's breadwinner,  passed away Christmas 2023.

Dawn Marie and I are asking your help to raise emergency funds, and to share this appeal.  It is very concerning. Lisa's critical need at this time is funds to cover her car loan, to move from the apartment she can now not afford by the end of month, to help cover February monthlies, and to provide care for her 4 cats.

Lisa is moving within Baltimore County, to live with family who have high care needs of their own, and are not able to help her financially other than cohabitation. The housing situation is helpful, but also stressful.

The breakdown of emergency expenses follows:

*$400 cat care incl special needs

*$600 car payments March - April

*250 gas and February monthlies

We understand that we put out calls for help and appreciate amy amount. This situation has us very concerned for her well-being and the well-being of her cats. The solution that's been worked out will allow Lisa and her clowder a place to live.

Lisa lost her ability to work and sometime later lost the love of her life who was also a support and provider to her. She worked tirelessly in Rescue until she could not - and now we are putting out a call for help. The greatest impact that we can provide at this time is Financial.
