Our family is coming together to support someone incredibly special to us, our sister-in-law Susan Sies

Our brother Jonathon, sister in law Susan and two nieces Chelsy and Melissa currently reside in Victoria,BC

On September 29, 2025, everything changed when she experienced a sudden seizure. What followed was a diagnosis no family is ever prepared for — a brain tumor. While surgery successfully removed the tumor, cancer still remains in her brain. She has since been given a terminal prognosis, with an estimated 18 months.

As her condition progresses, Susan is experiencing frequent and serious falls and can no longer be left alone. Her husband, Jonathon, has made the difficult but loving decision to take a leave of absence from work to care for her full-time.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly challenging time — supporting daily living expenses, medical needs, and allowing Jonathon to focus fully on being by her side.

Most importantly, this is about surrounding Susan and her family with love, support, and dignity in the time ahead.
