Hi, my name is Cinthia Aguilar. I am a 19 year old full time student at Santa Barbara City College with a part time job. I was 17 when I was diagnosed with Keratoconus. Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease that has impacted the shape of my eye causing distorted vision. Currently I use glasses, but without them I cannot see. My doctors have also informed me that they won’t help forever and leaving my disease untreated will lead to my loss of vision. I started this GoFundMe to raise money in order to have eye surgery, since no insurance will cover the cost, and unfortunately this procedure is very expensive for my family and I.
