Some of you may have heard that my health hasn't been great lately. After being in the hospital for the past week, with test after test, including 2 heart catheterizations on Thursday, a dedicated team of cardiologists delivered the news that I need a double bypass. This surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26th. 

 Working multiple part-time positions as a caregiver has left me facing this surgery with no insurance and no short term disability from an employer. While I am concerned with the impending uninsured hospital costs, I am most concerned about other expenses like rent, utilities and rehab costs that will add up before I can return to work. If there is anyway you can help, I would greatly appreciate it. That will remove a lot of stress from my recovery.
 
Asking for help is hard to do , but I am hoping and believing that I will be up and ready to go back to work within 3 to 4 months.  I never thought in a million years this would be happening to me, but it has and I am hoping for the very best outcome..
