My mom, Cindy Freeman, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer 4 years ago. After a couple surgeries and treatments the last 4 years she will unfortunately have to continue her chemo for the rest of her life to keep it from spreading or growing. My mom has insurance that covers most of the cost, but not all of it. Due to her condition she had to medically retire 2 years ago, which cut her income almost in half, so we are doing what we can to help her get caught up on the medical bills that have built up over the last couple years.
My mom is a fighter, and has no quit in her. She pushes herself to go to Jack’s UH football games, her grand kids games, school events, and parties, and yet somehow she is able to push through and be strong. She is our rock and we will continue to pray daily for her and this fight against cancer.
We graciously thank our friends, family, and the community we have here in Midlothian who constantly reach out and support her in this lifelong journey.
