Dear friends,
As some of you know and others not. Our dear Cindy Petitt lost her husband, Brad Petitt, Monday August 15th at 3:00 after a very quick battle. Brad and Cindy went to Baylor emergency on August 8th complaining of abdominal pain. After 3 days of being in ICU and running a series of tests, they learned Brad had 2 very serious bacterial blood infections which shut down his liver and kidneys completely. They learned on Sunday the 12th that there was nothing else that could be done except for him to be kept comfortable with no pain. He went very peacefully with Cindy by his side the whole time.
Brad and Cindy appreciate your prayers. Brad will be cremated and Cindy will be taking his ashes up to Illinois to have a very private burial with his family and his children only.
Brad will always be remembered as: the love of Cindys life, a great guy who never met a stranger, and he had the prettiest blues eyes with the greatest hair! He is survived by: his wife of 18 years, his mother, sister, brother, and 2 children of Illinois who loved him dearly and many nieces and nephews.
This page is for any contributions toward Brad's medical bills. The average cost per day in ICU is approximately $1500 and Brad stayed for 4 days. Anything helps, thank you for your generosity and prayers during this diffucult time for our dear friend.
