We are truly heartbroken to share that our beloved Cindya has passed away a few days ago after battling with sickle cell. Cindya passed away unexpectedly while traveling abroad, a trip she had eagerly anticipated for months after enduring a long hospital stay. In the weeks leading up to her departure, she was declared healthy, regained her strength, and joyfully spent time with her family as she looked forward to her journey.

Despite her battle with this painful illness Cindya was full of life, warmth, and kindness, and her unexpected passing has left a deep void in all of our hearts.

In the midst of our grief, we are now facing the difficult and unexpected challenge of bringing Cindya back home so we can lay her to rest with the love that she deserves. The cost to repatriate and hold a proper funeral in the UK is approximately £12,000, a sum that is overwhelming for the family to bear alone.

This GoFundMe has been set up to help cover the cost of transporting Cindya back to the UK, funeral and burial expenses related logistical and administrative fees.
