Many of you are aware that Cindy's cancer has returned for the third time on her right leg.  After much consideration, Cindy has decided on an amputation of that leg, which has been advised by her doctors.  The surgery will take place in two months - December 18.  

With this decision come many expenses one would never imagine having to experience.  Cindy and Dean are coordinating with  contractors to make their home ready for Cindy following surgery.  Immediate expenses include a wheelchair ramp into house, converting a bathtub to an accessible shower, as well as other bathroom changes such as raised toilet, pull bars, and reconfiguring sink area for passage in the bathroom, as well as widening doors for wheelchair passage in the home.

Future expenses are a motorized wheelchair, adding a lift to her car,  and converting her car so Cindy can continue to drive.  Yes, Cindy will continue working - that's our Cindy!!   

We Are Grateful

We have witnessed Cindy's strength and courage over this past 3 1/2 year battle, and want to say, "Cindy, you are one of the bravest people we know,  and we love you so much!"

"Dean, we know that God hand-picked you to be Cindy's husband!  Thank you for being right there beside and loving her through it all!"

Cindy's doctors are the best!  We are so grateful for the wonderful care provided to her. 

We are grateful to God for His love for Cindy and Dean, and know they will continue to be in the palm of His hand.  (They will celebrate  25 years of marriage in November!) 

THANK YOU to ALL who have loved and supported Cindy and Dean, (and their family), these past months and years through  prayer, hugs, love, and financial support.
