Cindy's battle with colon cancer

Dear Friends,

 

About two months ago, my mom Cindy was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.  I felt so many emotions when I found out, but the most prominent one was sadness.  I’m most sad that this incredibly powerful, horrible disease will not only cause my mom to suffer in discomfort, but that my sister, brother, aunts and the rest of my family will also suffer with her in grief and helplessness.  My mom bravely decided that she wanted to prolong her life as much as she possibly could, which meant that she would require surgery and also have a port placed to start chemotherapy.  She is receiving chemo every 2 weeks in hopes to shrink the tumor and allow her to live as many days on this wonderful earth as she can.  I am anxious for her to hold her grandbabies and watch them grow.  I want her to be here long enough for my children to remember their grandma.  But most of all, I want to put any unnecessary stresses out of my mom’s mind.  I don’t want her to worry how she will be able to afford the chemo; I want her to focus on doing the best she can to get through every single glorious day.  That’s why I’m starting this gofundme to take the financial burden off of my mom.  We all love her and want to spend so much more time with her!  Please share the below link to social media, please donate, and please send well wishes to my mom!
