Cindy Snyder's Journey

Hello Everyone - As a lot of you know, Cindy was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (a pediatric soft tissue cancer) back in January.  Since this is so rare for an adult to have, the treatment is pretty intense.  Both Cindy and Phil have been through a very difficult time between chemo visits, long periods of time spent in the hospital and rehabilitation center, infections and overall stress from this horrible disease. 

Cindy has been unable to keep food down and recently had a g-tube inserted for malnutrition and overall weakness. She is back home as of Saturday and she will be receiving her therapies at home.  Since Cindy is not ambulatory at this time, she requires a CNA to care for her during the day which insurance will not pay for.  The family is really struggling since they are reduced to one salary and the added medical expenses that unfortunately insurance will not pay for.
