Cindy Needs Your Help: Stage 4 Cancer Battle

My name is Cindy for any of you who may not know me. I’m 61 years old. I have 2 grown children, Dustin 40 & Heather 38. I have 4 grandchildren, Sadie 16, Brayden 14, Marlee Kate 9 & McCoy 3.

I was diagnosed in August 2022 with Metastatic Breast Cancer (no cure) which had metastasized to my bones ( which makes it stage 4). In December 2024 after being scanned we realized it has now gone to my liver also.

I haven’t been feeling well for about 4 weeks (so not able to work). Last Thursday I woke up very sick and running high temperature. (102.8) I called ambulance and was transported to JMCGH. Upon arriving and several test later I was diagnosed with pneumonia in lower right lung, dehydrated, low potassium, viral meningitis ( I do have reoccurring meningitis) and I was sepsis. I received so many strong antibiotics I don’t even know how many. I was able to go home this past Monday. I’m still not back to 100%. I had more X-rays taken on Wednesday and I’m still positive for pneumonia. So I’m still taking antibiotics at home.

im planning to try to go back to work on Sunday but it will still be 2 weeks before I will receive a partial check. I still have bills to pay, gas to buy to go back and forth to work and Drs.
