We’ve created this fundraiser to help our sister, Cindy. Cindy was driving her pups home from the park in torrential rain when she lost control of her vehicle and collided into a tree. It was hours before anyone found her and it took over an hour for first responders to cut her and her old dog, Huck, out of her car. Both Cindy and Huck sustained leg fractures. Cindy was more unfortunate...her femur was broken so badly that it ripped through her skin, leaving a piece of her femur somewhere in her car. She’s already had 2 major surgeries to reconstruct her leg and will have another surgery to have a donor bone graft inserted in 6 weeks. Cindy is facing several months of intense rehab to be able to walk again and will be relying on family and  friends for all her basic care and needs for at minimum, the next 3 months. During this time she will be unable to work. We ask for monetary donations to cover her rent, food and other expenses. Whatever extra that is raised will go towards the massive amount of medical bills she’s incurred and will continue to incur.
