Mullins Miracle

Cindy Mullins may have lost both arms and both legs to sepsis following complications from a kidney stone, but this KY Gal didn't lose even an ounce of her fighting spirit. What an inspiration she has been to all who have witnessed her plow through many surgeries and complications. She has experienced about as radical of life change as one can experience and she has done it with a smile and a determination few could muster. To watch her husband DJ morph overnight from Manager at Central Seal, where he has worked now in the road striping field for over 13 years, into a full-time caregiver for his young wife, has also been incredibly inspiring. Now a small army of KY contractors, suppliers, and volunteer construction & design professionals are coming together to build a new handicap-friendly single-story smart home for Cindy, DJ, and their two sons, Teegan(13) and Easton(8). The home has now been designed and a contract signed on a beautiful Lot in Stanford. The slab will be poured in August and the new home will then be built in just 10 days beginning on Sept 9 and concluding with the family moving in on Sept 18th. How can you help?
