Hi, my name is Cindy and I am trying to raise money for my hospital bills and a few home bills, such as car payment and auto and health insurance. My husband and I have been married for 35 years and he had a series of strokes starting in December which put him out of work and I was diagnosed with stage 3b squamous cell cancer in March. We have lived off of savings since June, but lost our home and moved into a friend's basement last month. We both applied for SS disability, but are being told it will be May or June for a decision and our insurance resets January 1st and will go up and the max out of pocket for both of us is increasing.
