Our dear friend has been fighting kidney disease for a long time, and this year she finally received the gift of a life‑saving kidney transplant. While this has given her a new chance at life, the recovery process has been incredibly challenging — physically, emotionally, and financially.
As many of you know, transplant recovery is not simple. She and her husband are making multiple trips each week to the hospital in Pensacola for labs, monitoring, and follow‑up care. Some visits require overnight stays, hotel rooms, meals on the road, and constant travel back and forth. These expenses add up quickly, especially for two people who are retired and living on a fixed income.
She is doing everything she can to get stronger, avoid infections, and help her new kidney settle safely into her body. What she needs most right now is the peace of mind that comes from having a little cushion — a bit of breathing room so she can focus fully on healing.
Her neighbors, her Bible study group, her flower‑garden friends, and so many others love her dearly. We are coming together to support her and her husband during this season. Any donation, no matter how small, will help lighten their load and remind them that they are surrounded by people who care deeply.
Thank you for your support!
