Cindy's Life Saving Lung Transplant

Hi, Everyone

My name is Emily I am the granddaughter of Cindy Freimann Salinski, and my Aunt Sandy and I have set up a Go Fund Me Account to help raise funds for Cindy’s Double Lung Transplant. Cindy contracted a pneumonia bacterial infection in her lungs in late December and had to spend a week in the hospital in early January, she was sent home on oxygen and antibiotic’s she was then seen by pulmonologist  Dr. Bowman where she began many treatments trying to find out why she wasn’t getting better, those treatments did not work.

  In April she decided to go to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville where she was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease and began an 8 week intense treatment with specialist Dr. Rebecca Burnside after the 8 weeks we found out not only did the treatment not work but her lungs had gotten worse and was told a double lung transplant is her only option eventually her lungs would deteriorate, Mayo Clinic referred my Nana to AdventHealth in Orlando where she will start a Lung Transplant evaluation on August 1st.

  Due to her illness she had to resign from her position as General Manager at PCMD Management Subway 46516 Debary FL and lost all her benefits including her health insurance, even though her company has helped her immensely throughout her illness, short term disability, extending her leave, she eventually had to resign. If you know my Nana she has always been there to help many others whether it was teaching someone to drive (like me), training them at Brandywine's Deli or Subway she always enjoys helping others.

 If you would like to make a donation we would be forever grateful and thankful and if you are not able to donate, my brothers Nate, Jonathan, Effrain and I would like to ask for your prayers. The transplant could cost $800,000, anti-rejection drugs $2,500 a month and health.gov insurance will not cover everything. Nana says she is not ready to give up, she is only 56 and she is fighting for this transplant she needs to see her grandkids grow up, see Payton have a family, be there for my wedding one day, she has too much to live for especially her family and friends. My Pop pop (Andy), my uncle Payton,  great aunt Sandy, great uncle Nick, my mom (Kelly) and  myself are making sure she is taken care of at home. She is the one telling us not to worry even though we can see she’s scared but if you know my Nana SHE’S GOT THIS!!!!
