To know Cindy is to love her! She makes everyone around her laugh, and her joy in life is contagious. I became close to Cindy many years ago in college when she was helping me through a rough time, and it wasn’t the only hard time she’s helped me through. We have remained close friends all these years. I really wanted some way to help her during this hard time and know there are many others who feel the same way. As many of you know, Cindy was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in July of 2018 just after moving to Seattle. She is fighting this horrible disease with radiation, chemo, and some alternative treatments. After more than 10 years with Southwest Airlines, she’s had to take a medical leave and in addition to the loss of income, she will be losing her health insurance in February. There are also costs of alternative medicines and treatments not covered by insurance, the second round of radiation, and 12 weeks of chemo among other expenses. All of these expenses could reach around $4,000.00 per month. If you know Cindy, you probably realize she did not like the idea of anyone helping her, even though she would be the first to help others. I’m so happy she finally agreed to let others be a blessing! She and her family are incredibly thankful for the prayers, words of encouragement, and support! If you feel led to give, any amount you give is appreciated. It all adds up and will be such a blessing! We are putting our faith in the Lord and believing for complete healing. Please feel free to share this page to get the word out.
