Cindy Garcia’s path to recovery

Update from Our Cindy I her own words

I dont even know how to begin but God Is Amazing and I wanted to thank everyone that kept me in their thoughts, prayers  and donations in the journey I have come against. I am recovering  better than I thought and in rehabilitation for a few more days before I am discharged for home.  I have to stay in Houston for 3 months for therapy.  This new life that was given to me of a double lung trasplant from an amazing doner that i will get to know more is a true blessing and i am truly greatful because I would not be here if they did not find a match. Again thank you to All that have been there and for all the donations. Much love and appreciation from the bottom of my heart -- Cynthia Garcia

Update. Came to visit my wife she was excited Very tired and can't really talk much but it was good to see her Not much has changed just a waiting game for now Doing better in her physical therapy and some time next week doctors will let us know on the transplant Thanks for all your prayers and support from everyone and I really appreciate it Update. So this ecmo machine that my wife has been on for over a month now did not work for her. So her lungs are damaged caused by covid so that means she will be needing a lung transplant and this will be done in Houston She will be transferred to hospital in Houston tonight and will be there 6 months for the procedure please continue your prayers this will be a long process for her and the family, but God is really watching over her and is not giving up. Thanks again for all your prayers ❤ love yall continued prayers, positive thoughts and donations are greatly appreciated Please support this GoFundMe page to help Cindy come home with some breathing room. She is one of the breadwinners of her family. Cindy has been in the hospital for over 25 days. We still don’t know when she will be discharged She was placed on the ECMO machine due to the severity of her illness from COVID.   She is gradually progressing, and her recovery will be long.  Her 3 and 6 year old boys as well as her husband are waiting with open arms. Money raised will decrease the stress and allow her some relief. If you could support by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps us get closer to the goal. Again, this GoFundMe page is to help Cindy and her family cover some her incurred debt.
