Cindi is a mother, hairstylist, two-time cancer surviving powerhouse of a woman.
On Saturday morning, Cindi experienced a stroke while working at her self-owned hair salon. Although she was treated at the hospital immediately, Cindi experienced a significant amount of damage to her brain stem. The brain stem controls many basic functions such as regulation of breathing and consciousness, and it contains a number of significant nerves.
For the last several days of her life, Cindi was reminded of the extensive number of individuals who love and care for her. Yesterday afternoon, Cindi went to be with her father in Heaven. Although we are distraught by the circumstances, we are comforted that Cindi is now able to rest, and we are confident that she received the most elite care and that all aspects of this situation were taken care of in a manner that was ethical, gentle, and loving.
Once we have made arrangements, we will make sure that the information is spread publically. Right now, we are asking for some assistance with expenses. All funds will be used to support the family with relevant expenses (medical bills, funeral, etc.).
We greatly appreciate all of the love and support our friends and family have shown so far, and we take comfort in the number of people who have already reached out to express their love for Cindi and her family.
