Cindi Kelly's Medical Expenses

A little bit of context
"There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better." If you have ever met my Aunt Cindi, you will realize that she is one of those people. Cindi Kelly is a secretary at Bonanza Schools, where she has worked for almost 20 years. She has the love of many students and staff, where more than her own family members refer to her as Aunt Cindi.
But there’s a problem
Cindi was recently diagnosed with multifocal breast cancer. She has had two surgeries that removed the tumor. Cindi will also have 6 weeks of radiation/5 days a week, 2 kinds of chemotherapy, including steroids & bone marrow shots for 12 weeks. She has already had one complication, an infection, and required extra travel to her doctor in Medford.
Here’s what we’re doing about it
Our family is no stranger to the expense of cancer. Cindi's daughter, Jessi, overcame Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma 6 years ago. We know that although we were unable to alleviate the emotional stress, being able to help with a small part of the financial burden will allow Cindi to focus on getting well.
You can join us
We would love to be able to help support Cindi with some of the financial burden of the medical and travel expenses associated with her treatment. We have set a goal of $5,500. We thank everyone for their support.
