This is the fourth year of Cinderblocks as a patient led conference. This is the third year that it is hosted in the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland. This event is a coming together of many voices and players within the world of healthcare, and I mean that very literally. Our players include doctors that sing, physical therapists whom fire dance and artists that focus on data.

I often describe this event as Burning Man meets healthcare. We come into the metaphorical desert of broken system of care. We bring all that we have to the table. We collaborate with others, tearing down silos. 

This crowdfund exists to offset the cost of the event.  We try to keep the patient ticket cost very
