Cinda Odneal’s medical expenses.

My sister, Cinda Odneal, has been in the hospital since January 2nd due to complications from surgery she had on December 21st. It was supposed to be a minor surgery that would make her miss only a couple days of work. As of today, January 20th, she’s missed 18 days of work and ran out of paid time off two or three days in. Since she’s been in the hospital, she has endured many procedures including having a drain inserted to drain infected blood off of her abdomen and having fluid drained off of her left lung, all the while she has had to deal with C-Diff. She was told today that she will have to spend at least 2 weeks at a rehab hospital before she can be discharged home. Then she will still be on IV antibiotics and fluids for a couple of weeks. Although she does have short-term disability, it has a 30 day no-pay policy. Which means her policy won’t kick in until she’s been without pay for 30 days, then will only pay 66% of her salary.
This will put her and Robert in a pretty big bind. Her deductible and max out of pocket reset on January 1, plus she’s going to miss at least a month’s salary maybe more. Our goal is $2500 but every little bit helps. Prayers are coveted also. Thank you all for being such amazing prayer warriors. We love and thank you all. God bless.
