Hi. My name is Marcina Frazier. I am the mother of a handsome young man, a single parent, gaurdian to my nephew and a devoted friend to many.
I was told that I had thyroid cancer in October and recently had surgery to remove it. Surgery went well but unfortunetly I recently found out I will need to have another surgery.
With all this coming about the prayers and well wishes are a great support to me and my family. I am a strong independent woman but with the surgery, hospital bills, home bills and other expenses it seems so overwhelming. I have looked around for organizations that will assist someone with cancer in need but so far have not had much success. Since thyroid cancer has such a high survival rate, it doesn't qualify for a lot of financial assistance programs and my type is not even considered a disability by the ADA. There are so many funding and assistance program for children or people over the age of 65 who have cancer. But none to support if you are in your 20's through 40's.
I am asking for support through gofundme not only for the hospital bills that I have already recieved but for the ones that are yet to come, help with bills that have occured from me not working and to help provide for my son and nephew that I take care of.
Please, ANY assistance you can do for me would be SO VERY APPRECIATED!
