CIMWI needs fish!

Tax deductible
We need your help to fill CIMWI's freezer with fish!

Fish is the magic ingredient in our patient’s journey to health. It gives them life-sustaining nutrition and enables them to gain the weight necessary to return to the wild with a second chance at life!

CIMWI is currently feeding 125 pounds of fish each day to our patients and this will increase to approximately 300 pounds a day as we continue to rescue multiple animals each week. These sick, injured, malnourished, and entangled marine mammals depend on CIMWI to nurse them back to health.

As patients become healthier, they eat an average of 10% of their body weight each day while in rehabilitation with CIMWI. A healthier pup will eat 5 pounds of fish and an adult will eat 15-20 pounds a day. The average cost to feed one patient in rehabilitation is $500. That’s a lot of fish! We need your help to cover the cost to fill our 40’ freezer with fish.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 and we’ve already received $11,000 in donations! We are extremely grateful for the support from these companies that jump-started our Fish GoFundMe Campaign!
We are at 37% of our goal and need to raise the remaining $19,000! If you would like to help fill CIMWI’s freezer with fish, you can donate through this GoFundMe Campaign or mail a check to CIMWI (PO Box 4250, Santa Barbara, CA 93140).

We appreciate our CIMWI fans and are committed to doing all we can to give these marine mammals a second chance at life back in the wild!
