On Tuesday, August 12, my sister-in-law Ciera Gray left this earth to reside in Paradise with those who have left before her. Just 4 days after the anniversary of her father's passing... Ciera is leaving behind 2 beautiful little girls who were not ready to lose her, and a family that will miss her beyond belief. 45 years is just simply not enough time on this earth. I will never forget the first time I met Ciera. She was living in Liberty, Indiana at the time when Kristen (her sister) and I started dating. She talked to me like she had known me forever, and I was immediately comfortable and felt like I was welcomed. Her entire family is, and has always been, that way. Not only to me, but to anyone they cross paths with. She was always, and I mean ALWAYS, smiling and joking. She would always sit and listen to music, and talk about my favorite band with me just like it was her favorite band as well. Whether it was or wasn't, she talked to me like it was to make me feel more comfortable. I miss those times more than ever right now.
Ciera is leaving behind two absolutely beautiful, and so very special daughters, Kaydence and Melahnia. These two girls have been absolutely devastated by the loss of their mommy. Kaydence is 11 years old, and Melahnia is only 8... Their entire world is crumbling around them, but they still have so much love to give, and somehow keep smiles on their beautiful faces! They are lucky enough to have an amazing Nana in Linda that will still be there for them day in and day out to take care of them, and provide them with the love that they so deserve and need. But, with any unexpected loss of a loved one, comes a lot of unexpected costs as well. This GoFundMe is set up to help Linda, and Ciera's daughters directly, to get the funds they need to pay for the costs of the funeral services. Anything will help, and anything donated is appreciated more than words can express. If you are so willing and able, please help Linda and these beautiful girls get the funding they need to help cover costs of the service and burial. It would mean the world to the entire family.
We truly appreciate the outpouring of support from everyone. If only she could see how much she was truly loved. In the coming days, our family will go through one of the worst moments, but all of the shared memories of Ciera from all of her friends and family help ease some of the pain felt with her loss. Again, we thank you for the continued support, and for donating to help the family with these unexpected costs.
With love ♥
