Friends, as you may know our dear friend, community member, and rad comrade Cian has been going through difficult times this past year. This is a bid for help & support they are in dire need of.

Cian must raise a minimum of $3,000 by the end of May or their irreplaceable belongings will be put up for auction by the company that owns their storage unit.

Difficult times compounded and snow balled in the short stretch between Mid 2025 & early 2026. During this time Cian was diagnosed with disabling Lyme disease from a tick bite, had to shut down their business "Cannonball Cleaners" as a small business owner (losing their main source of income), and started the process of applying for long-term disability SSDI.

While navigating this disabling health crisis, tragically the dear friend they shared an apartment with for 7 years, Kiwi, passed suddenly during a visit to the ER for chest pains. After Kiwi's sudden passing, Cian had no time to mourn or rest, as they were informed by their landlord that they had 2 months to vacate their home, all while trying to navigate their new physical disability, losing their other part time job, and go through all of Kiwi's remaining things abandoned in their shared apartment. One after another, crisis has spilled into crisis and snowballed to where we are now.

There are long-term ongoing needs, but the first thing we need to take care of is the biggest risks to Cian's stability right now.

The support Cian most urgently needs right now is financial-- late bills are the greatest risk to the stability they have been able to put together for themselves since the beginning of 2026.

Currently Cian is at risk of losing their life's belongings to a late storage unit bill that is several months behind, cannot register their car or get their license transferred to NY due to accrued tolls in NY, NJ & DE, and are still without income while monthly bills accumulate & are sent to collections. Cian was given an auction date of June 2nd & by then will need to have paid off what they owe or risk their belongings being taken as collateral.

Right now Cian needs $3,000 to get caught up on the worst bills they have accrued, but their ongoing needs are much greater than this.

$3,000 is the minimum we need to raise for Cian before June 2nd. Whatever is raised beyond the $3,000 will go towards things like their ongoing medical & medication bills, to pay for gas for their car, put aside for the continuing costly monthly payments at the storage unit, and to help support Cian access things like food, items for their comfort, or be put aside for future unknown needs.
