My name is Serena , and I am organizing this GoFundMe for my grandpa, Larry Vanis. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when my grandma fell ill with pneumonia right before Halloween. Despite his unwavering support and dedication, she sadly passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2023. A month after being hospitalized . My grandma was the light of my grandpa's life; he stood by her side through every hurdle they faced together. She had a heart full of love for her family, friends, and community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. For the past decade, she devoted herself to assisting my grandpa in running N. Long Beach Pop Warner which was an activity they both cherished as a way to give back to their community. Our family is incredibly heartbroken from her loss. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
