Chyna's Lost Her First Born & Needs Our Help
Donation protected
I like to tell you a story about an astonishing girl I know. Her name is Chyna Monet Nolley. I have known her since she was a newborn baby. At 23, she has weathered more traumas and bad times than anyone her age that I know.
As a newborn, she lost her mother to hemorrhaging from childbirth and was raised by her two grandmothers and Charlie Nolley, her father. Charlie remarried Wendy West, who had two kids of her own, Treyvn and Mikayla. They settled down to be a happy family. Both Charlie and Wendy worked for me for years.
About seven years ago, Wendy contracted Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare condition that a viral or bacterial infection can cause. It is a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves and can paralyze a person. It has no cure. Five years ago, about this time of the year, Wendy passed away. Her family was left grieving, and they had to care for each other. Chyna, being the oldest, became the woman of the house and helped Charlie with the other kids.
It was a sorrowful time, but Chyna rose to the occasion. She came to work for me at Mill Street about this time. Chyna has been one of my best employees, always smiling and getting the job done. We are like a second family to her, having grown up around us.
Chyna got pregnant and was very happy to start a family of her own. But back in November, she found out that there could be some problems with her child but decided to carry him to term. A few weeks ago, she had an emergency C-section because her water broke.
She held him in her arms, and he lived a few days. His name was Jayceon. He passed away last Tuesday, April 26th, due to complications in the womb. I do not know how you can go through this much distress in such a short span of life and it not affect you.
I’m telling you all about this because Chyna is a beautiful person who needs our help. She needs time to recover and pay her bills. If you know her, you know what a wonderful person Chyna is. I know she would not ask others for help but add this to all the other burdens she is carrying. I appreciate any help that you can give Chyna.
