My name is Rumie and I created this GoFundMe as a way to celebrate ChuYi Vang, my late brother-in-law, and help his family with his devastating passing. ChuYi died in his sleep on October 8, 2025.

ChuYi was a devoted husband and father, who was eagerly awaiting his very first grandchild. His grandson will never get to meet him, but I hope that his family and friends will share memories of ChuYi's humor, his kindness, desire to help everyone, and his love of fishing. I will always remember how many times he helped me move apartments and how he would tease me about my favorite hockey team.
