Hello everybody! We hope you're having a very blessed day. We are reaching out to ask for your support and donations to help rebuild our local church (Church of God Carfourmarose) located in Petit Goaves, Haiti. This church was built back in 1990 by the late Madame Bontemps; the mother of Maryse Jean-Philippe, the current founder of the church today. Its main goal was to help the local community while bringing the love of God to each and every person. In 1998, the church building fell completely apart and was restructured and rebuilt by Maryse and her husband Nicouly Jean-Philippe in the year 2000.
Over the years, our family has taken multiple trips to aid the church as much as we can. We've supported the local community through the church by bringing food, clothes, and essential items to the local members. We were also fortunate enough to create various programs for all ages at the church that catered on physical, mental, and spiritual growth. The church has been providing education support as well for the many young students that attend the church along with food and shelter for those in dire need. Twice a year, we go back to provide as much support as we can however, these efforts need to be expanded to 365 days a year and we don't have the resources to do it alone.
The church unfortunately has fallen on difficult times over the years due to a lack of resources and funding to help keep it afloat. The church is in need of major repairs. Your donations will go to revitalizing the physical structure which is suffering due to recent events. The roof is leaking, and the church needs new furniture. We also need funding to help support the local community members who have fallen on hard times due to the pandemic and scarce availability to jobs in this region. Our goal is to pair our spiritual support with a physical refuge for our community. We are located in a place where a dry home can be tough to find - which makes finding a way to support yourself and your family very difficult.
We are asking for your help and support at this time. Your donations will go a long way in providing immediate resources and essentials that are direly needed right now.
