Spende geschützt

On Monday, June 8, 2020 at 12:30pm the roof in the main sanctuary of our church, Christian Fellowship Center Church of God in Christ, collapsed. The damage was devastating. The front wall of the church fell onto the sidewalk and street of McClure Ave on Pittsburgh’s Northside. Thankfully no one was injured, but the remains of the building had to be demolished.
The building was originally built in 1861, and has been a part of this community for the past 159 years. Given the Church’s deep roots in the community, and knowledge that the building was also a refuge along the Underground Railroad, the City deemed the church as a historic landmark.
Pastor Frank Tillman, Jr. and his congregation have been serving in ministry at this location for the past 20 years. The finalizing costs of the building are beyond what the church can currently carry. At this time any and all donations for additional expenses are greatly appreciated.
*Please know this is the only official page for our church that was set up with the help of family and friends.
