Chumleys at the vet
Donation protected
Hi my name is David and my wife Mel, unfortunately our 2023 didnt start well, after waking up new years day seeing our little Chumley not being able to walk and collapsed on the grass, we immediately knew something was wrong, he is our shadow and follows us everywhere.
He is currently at the vet and will likely be there for several days, at this stage after a few possible scenarios thrown at us, they think it is maybe a Tick paralysis but they can't find the tick. His front and back legs are currently paralysed due to it running through his body, he was struggling to breathe last night, but has stabilised a little over night, this can change very quickly so he will still be monitored very closely.
We aren't the type of people to normally ask for money, it's only the fact that the days he went it were a public holiday (New years day and the monday new years day)everything is costing double with it being $1500 a night for him to stay there, with the possibility of several days stay at this stage, plus the costs of the tests and treatments.
We would do anything for our dogs, if we could get any little help towards paying for the vet costs over these next few days, that would be very much appreciated and take some financial stress off of us. the house feels empty without him walking beside us.
