Chuck Cain's Sarcoidosis Medical Treatment
Donation protected
My name is Wayne, and I am the brother-in-law to one of the nicest guys I know. Chuck Cain lives in Jonesville, Michigan and needs to travel to Denver, Colorado, in April 2022 to the National Jewish Health's Sarcoidosis Program. He will have to stay in Denver for a minimum of 5 days.
There's a good chance even if you know Chuck Cain you'd never know he suffers from a very rare medical condition called Sarcoidosis. This medical condition is defined as the growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in different parts of the body--most commonly in the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes and skin. Among Sarcoidosis sufferers, Chuck's condition is even less frequent in that his are located on his spine--causing immense chronic pain. He's suffered with this condition for over a decade and has traveled to many medical specialists, including the University of Michigan, Cleavland Clinic and many others. To date none have been able to effectively help Chuck regain control of his life.
As you can imagine, the family's medical bills have been insurmountable over the last ten years and never seem to stop. Just the travel alone to all the medical facilities has put a terrible strain on their household budget.
Chuck is not one to ask for anything. He is a proud father and husband who suffers daily working as a welder to provide for his family.
